This painting went incredibly fast. It was a rare occasion where I had the image in my head, went for it and didn't meet any obstacles on the way. Such fond memories... too bad that only happens about once a year.
Thanks for bringing Evangeline Lilly into the multiverse, Eric. Thought she looked familiar when I saw the card, but when I saw the larger image on MTGO, the likeness was unmistakable. Please tell me you had a personal sitting for this.
Sometimes I'll see a card want to get it strictly the art - this is one of those cards. Really awesome art, I think one of my favorites of Dark Ascension.
